Final Post for A Doll's House!

Nora leaving her wonderful home and returning to her home town because she needs to

figure out who she is why she did what she did. Thinking to her self "I made a good choice to

leave my issues and stress behind me."

She finally reached her home town and saw her old home were she used to live in with old

family. Nora starts to day dream about how she was papa's little doll when she was a little girl.

she arrives at her old house and see her mother on the front of the house.

Nora's mother: "Nice to finally see you where are the children and Torvald. Oh I get it you came

spend some time with me and will return home to wonderful family with lots of joy right

sweetie."

Gives her mother this strange look as if she doesn't know if she should tell her the truth or sugar

code it while telling her.

Nora: "Mommy we have to talk about what happened to my family it's not them it was me that

made a huge mistake." "We'll talk about it later when we have dinner later".

Nora's mother: "OK honey I understand, Katie get her bags and put them in her old bedroom

now."

Katie: "Yes Mrs. Mandel right away."

Nora: "Now I am ready to come in so we could finish from where we left of last time so lets do

that!"

They were talking for 5 long hours about what they like to do for fun. What thing happened in

their lives that made them the person they are today and what they should do to improve their

selves. Certain things they had to do to keep some one they really love alive. Nora didn't use

Torvald's name for some reason she was saving it for her very long story at dinner.

Katie: "Dinner is ready to be severed."

Mrs.Mandel: "We'll be right over in a minute thanks for reminding us. "

Finally sitting at the dinner table enjoying a wonderful meal. Started of from were they started

from. Nora brought up the real topic they need to start talking about her family issues.

Nora: "When Torvald was ill the Doc said that he was going to die if didn't go to a place with

warm a climate so his could heal up quickly." "A round the same time papa was ill and you had

money issues so I didn't ask to barrow money from my part of the family meaning you and

papa. So ask another man to give me a loan to save my husband's life so he did but he said

papa had to sign it." "Knowing how weak papa was how could I tell him that I needed him to sign

a paper telling him that my husband is about to die if he didn't because it's for a loan to barrow

money so my family could move to Italy so he could heal and depend it on his life." He would of

past away even faster than he did.

Nora's mother: "You should of asked us that time you aunt from your dad's side of the family

had money she used to work when her first husband pasted so she saved it and didn't start

using it lat year because she starting to be old and can't take care of herself the way she used

to."

Nora: "I never told him about me barrow the money so our marriage was based on lies and

secrets that were wrong and painful."

Nora's mother: "You know that's wrong well he never asked us when your hiding some thing

what should he do." "No your my sweet Nora can't do that's impossible!"

"Tell me it's all lies right?"

Nora: "It's all true he found out thought a letter from the man I borrowed the money from

him."

"That why I had to leave the house and that old life behind me to live up another that's true."

Nora"s mother: "Honey you can't just run away every time some thing goes wrong or things

change."

I'll you stay but you have to return home to your family you love and care for.

Nora didn't answer her but knew every single word and she had to honor it because that's her

mother. Before thing became this bad she need to tell her mother what was happening in her

marriage. She knew she could of asked her mom about any thing but her mother live to far from

her. She was scared to tell him she thought he might leave him and never forgive her.

Act 3 Stating What I think......

At this point in the play, Nora is acting strange and makes it so obvious that she's hiding something from her husband. She seems to be flirting with Dr. Rank because she seems not to have any female friends except for Ms. Lin. Nora loves to act evasive towards Helmer in some part of the play. I think it is wrong to treat your husband this way. Nora should treat her husband with love and with trust and honesty. She should tell him the truth about the letter. It will make their relationship stronger, and it won't be based on lies any more.

Bloging About What I think About Act I

I think Nora is crazy and should stop lien to everyone including her husband. Nora has

excruciating with herself because she doesn't want her other half to find out she borrow money

form a person that's lies to his own children. She did that to save his life but if she told him the

truth he might had forgave her all ready. It's so awkward how she's always happy and asking

Torvald for money especially in the play it's around Christmas time. A normal wife would ask

for shoes or new dresses to wear.

I hates the names Torvald gives her are rude and not that cute. The only one that I like is

skylark twittering. I thinks she know how to reproach Mrs. Lin good she knows how to speak

Her mind really well. Did I mention Nora has multiple personalities in the play. She seems

alike to Beneath from "A Raisin in the Sun".

Nora might be the one who looks like the type to do certain actions that might help some one

she made a good decision that to save her husband's life but she still could of gotten the money in

a different way. She should of told him what happen any way or form thought. No one could be

in a good mood all day every of the year twenty four seven some not right with them their

most likely hiding some thing they did. Nora has to many hysterics in the play at her house. She

has a lack of maturity because she calls her children dollies like a little girl playing with dolls and

a doll house she's really a person that acts with no brains.

First First Post :About Myself and The Author Of A Doll's House

My name is Derbie Gaspard I am a sophomore at Bloomfield High School. I in Miss.Santos's English class. I have English fourth period my favorite thing we did in class this year was reading and watching "A Raisin In The Sun". The reason I like "A Raisin In The Sun" it was easy for me to understand it plus it wasn't a boring play to read or watch. I have to find information about the author of A Doll's House.

The author's name is Henrik Ibsen he was the second son in a wealthy family. His birthday was March 20,1828 in Skien. That including five other children in 1835 the family had financial issues that forced them to move to a smaller house in Venstop. That same year he moved to Grimstad to study apothecary's assistant. Ibsen wrote his first play the winter or 1848 and it was called "Catiline"which was rejected by Christiania Theatre. I was publish in 1850 under the psedonyum Bjarme and generated little interest. A Doll's House was written in 1879 were among the last plays included in his realism period.
